Danger overhead? Icicles Falling Off Skyscrapers.

Are you 'superstitious' about walking under ladders? It's common sense to stay away from dangerous situations such as loose ladders and scaffolding. The latest reported danger is ice sliding off buildings
Countries have different dangers and safety rules. A few examples:
UK - a boy was killed by the central electrified railway line when he put his head against it to listen for an oncoming train because he was late. Apparently passengers do this in Pakistan where the railway lines are not electrified.
Today Feb 10 2014 I read news reports about ice falling off a skyscraper in the USA.
Every building should be designed like a stepped pyramid to protect those jumping out in a fire and those on the ground from falling objects. In some cities the police cordon off the area to protect you. Sometimes under a construction site a pedestrian pathway is constructed with a roof which offers some protection against falling objects. Safety first.
