Buying Irish washed rind cheese from La Fromagerie in London

Trying cheeses.

Today I decided that you need a biscuit or cracker with a strongly-flavoured washed rind cheese - because/if the rind has been washed in brine (salt water).

As a consumer when shopping you can ask the cheese seller in a shop which cheeses are washed rind cheeses.

Or look for the tell-tale orange outside.

For example, Durrus, a cheese from County Cork, Ireland, is a washed rind cheese. We bought it from La Fromagerie in London. They have a shop near Baker Street. They were also exhibiting at the Restaurant Show in Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London.

This is La Fromagerie's display of cheeses which the chefs and restaurant owners could try at the Restaurant Show.
