Phone charging in restaurants and at events

Isn't it annoying when your phone dies when you are out for the day or evening. You need to have your charger and adapter, or lead and plug, then you crawl around the floor looking for a socket. You watch your phone. Or the restaurant plugs it into a computer (which could capture your data). Or they say the socket is downstairs or in another room. Vital messages, business, family. You want to take a photo or a selfie.

Now there's an answer to this problem. A little bank of charger drawers for different types of phone. Their charger lead is built in.

I tried it out. Make sure your device is charging by checking after a short while that the lead is properly fixed and it's going. They gave me a device to wear around my neck to identify my phone when I collected it.

I understand from their sales apartment that the system has already been used by major restaurants. And big events such as golf events - e.g. the Ryder Cup at Gleneagles in Scotland.

The NHS is using it.

And City airport, Virgin Atlantic lounge I believe. And forty more events in the coming year.
