Other Cats To Whip the book of French idioms

I just received a copy of Other Cats to Whip, the book of French idioms by Zubair Arshad and Graham Clark. Idiomatic publishing limited.

This is one of those books you always wanted to write but don't have time so you always wished somebody else would write it. Now they have.

Its a paperback, pocket size - wait I'll measure it 16 cm wide by 13 cm high, just under six and a half inches across and five inches up, so it fits inside a pocket or small messenger bag to read on the train.

ISBN (International Standard Book Number - so you can order it quickly on line or from a bookshop - system brought in so bookshops would not order and send you 'the biography of 'Elizabeth I' written 100 years ago instead of the one reviewed last week).
ISBN number 0 700461 536864.

A great topic of conversation with friends living in French speaking countries, as well as something useful to read on the ferry or plane to France.

It's quite a quick read, illustrated. Might be a good gift, either a leaving gift for somebody taking a trip, or a thanks for inviting gift if you are staying with friend in France or invited to lunch by them, or a leave behind gift. It's small and light to pack.
Other Cats To Whip
(title of the book) translates like this
J'ai d'autres chats a fouetter (I have other cats to whip)
translates as
I have other fish to fry.
Doesn't sound good to animal lovers, but swear words don't sound good to teachers either, but at least you know what people mean if you overhear them on a train.

I'll tell you more tomorrow when I've read it.
