French words of the day: denouement and lumiere


French - English
denouement - literally un tying of a knot, the solution to the mystery in a whodunnit
lumiere - light or illumination
noue - knot as in noose
son - sound (remove the u and the d and it is the same word; sonorous is noisy
son et lumière - sound and light - generally a show at tourist attractions with tickets
