Statues and Graves of Composers and Famous People

Statues of composers can be found outdoors in city centres and in old cemeteries in major cities which were traditionally centres of music and opera, especially London, England, and Vienna, Austria. For old and recent singers and songwriters and composer, you will find more in modern music areas such as Nashville Tennessee, and in museums. The obvious people whose statues and monuments and graves you can look for are Beethoven, Chopin, Handel, Mendelssohn, Mozart or their family members.

For researching, you can select by the country or city you are living in or visiting.

CHOPIN
Major monument in Warsaw which you will see on a city tour.

HANDEL
George Frederick Handel - Victoria and Albert Museum.

HENDRIX
Jimi Hendrix statue, Isle of Wight, UK.

WINEHOUSE
