Supermarket Snacks and Personal Shoppers

In my previous post I mentioned the back yogurt pot at Sainsbury's Chickwick Park store.

Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury's nationwide
In the UK it is gratifying the number of major supermarkets offering seated areas for having coffee or a full meal, plus snacks made on the premises to take away, and freshly cooked chicken. Look for the websites to check the opening times of your nearest branch or the one in the area you are visiting. Some branches of Waitrose offer a free coffee if you buy food with a minimum spend.

Debenhams in Harrow
Debenhams in Harrow has a shopper service. Again if you make a certain spend you get a free drink. You can buy a shopper service for a man, if you think he would need it or want it. You fill in a form telling the shopper your budget, any special event (such as a wedding or holiday) plus your height and weight and any other preferences such as smart or casual or colour.

Morrisons
When it comes to shopping in supermarkets for food, timing is everything. We were recently looking for BBQ chicken freshly cooked from Morrisons. The Hatch End branch stopped selling them at 5 pm on a Wednesday evening.
