Toastmasters Clubs Speaking German

German is spoken in Germany, Austria and parts of Switzerland. Knowing German also helps you to recognise words of Dutch and Yiddish and vice versa.  Most English speakers will recognize the roots of the words kindergarten (child garden) and delicatessen (delicate essen or eating).  Other familiar words might be spiel (game). From songs in films such as Cabaret:,Wilkommen, (welcome).
