Delightful Dining Watching The World Go By (in Hatch End)

Delisserie restaurant in Hatch End has been remodelling for a while but just look at the delightful result. Hey - alliteration - delightful dining at Delisserie! It's a delight to the eye and a delight to passers-by. The cushioned chairs are enclosed in a well below the green 'wall' or barrier with the window boxes filled with green plants.

Places
Their website is well designed. Four simple headings, the first of which is location. They have six locations which I shall list alphabetically for convenience:
Borehamwood
Hatch End
Mill Hill
St Johns Wood
Stanmore
Temple Fortune

I have been to their branches in suburban Hatch End and central London. According to the  website they opened in 2002.

Menu Choice
The menu is New York Grill. Lots of Jewish style food such as bagels and salmon and salt beef. Plus pastrami.  (If you want kosher food, see my next post.)

When they say they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, they mean a proper breakfast menu. The breakfast menu is quite extensive with all kinds of eggs and bagels and a full breakfast. The selection of drinks and juices is also good.

Prices
Prices? A range of prices and lots of choices if money is not a problem. You could spend a lot or budget carefully, if you have an accountant's eagle eye or somebody in your group wants to be careful. For example, the cheapest bottle of sparkling white I could see was Prosecco at £25. However, you could get a glass of white wine for about £5. (Add on service.)

Hatch End has about 15 restaurants. Why 'about' fifteen?  Because two more across the road have had 'opening shortly' signs for several weeks. More about other restaurants in previous and future posts.
