Another Free Museum in Hong Kong - Po Leung Kuk Museum



Apart from the Sun Yat-sen museum, and the escalators up to it, what else is free to see in Hong Kong?

After visiting the nearby Inn Side Out bar (shown in my previous post), near Causeway Bay MTR, I looked up the Po Leung Kuk museum I had passed walking on the way.

Wikipedia explains that the organisation originally rescued orphans, abandoned babies and girls from poor families who were sold off as lifelong servants working dawn to dusk for no pay, in effect slaves, and sometimes sold on to be prostitutes. Now it runs schools.
