What to do when stuck in a queue? Write Poems.

Problem
What do you do when stuck in a queue? (Americans say a line or line up.)

Answer
Write comic poetry. About the place you are in, and/or the people you have met.

If you haven't met anybody new, write about your family.

The simplest form is to find a rhyme and end the second and fourth lines of every four line verse with your rhyme.

To make your poem easier to remember, have eight syllables on each line. Count them on your fingers.

Write up on any handy piece of paper. Or speak into SIRI on your smart phone and get your verse recorded.

Later, type up your recording.

When you have time, add an illustration. The easiest is a recent holiday photo of your family or yourself as the subject or author.

Here's one I revised today.
