When is Father's Day? Is it the same everywhere?

No. A tourist, Phil, from the UK, who lived in Jakarta and now lives in New Zealand - and met me in Europe, quips: "It's a commercial holiday. It's Sunday Jun 18 2017 in the UK."

In London we saw an offer outside Mosfilo Greek Kouzina (Greek cuisine) restaurant in Hatch End, Pinner, North west London, England. The sign read First drink is free for father. Other offers are in magazines and newspaper which fall through the door or are given away on railways stations.
Tips
If you've forgotten father's day, you can quickly print out a card on line if you are connected to a printer, or in a hotel with a business centre. If you have a newspaper or magazine with the words Father's Day or Happy Father's Day, you can cut out the words and either paste them onto white card with a personal message added, or just set the words up across a place setting at home or in a restaurant.
We saw no sign of Father's Day in Romania. Bu a group of men, all fathers on a walking holiday, raised their glasses and said to each other, 'Happy Father's Day - cheers!" You can also do a free Skype phone call and send an email.
