How to learn and remember Welsh words

Problem
I am planning to visit Wales later this year. I can recognise a few words on the map but want to learn some more and understand signposts and what people are saying.

I find it easier to revise and keep track by going through words alphabetically.

GRAMMAR NOTE
Welsh omits 'a' and 'the'.
