How to read, write and type Welsh

Problem
How do I type the Welsh accents on letters?

Answers
here they are:
 â ê î ô ŵ ŷ ï

I have left them small so you can copy them, if you can't find them on your keyboard. Then I made them large so you can see the accents clearly even if you are looking at a small screen.
 â ê î ô ŵ ŷ ï

The accents like a hat or upside down v are on the vowels
a e i o and the W and Y.

In addition the letter i can have a double dot.

â is formed on my Mac laptop keyboard by pressing down the letter a with the number 3.

e same again e and letter 3.

i is the letter i and a number one. î

o ô easy again the number one.

w
y when you press it down brings up a double dot, no use in Welsh.
i and the number 2 produced the i with the double dot like this ï

Tips
To learn Welsh words and simple grammar and hear the words pronounced, use
www.Duolingo.com Press on the symbol for listening in most of the exercises.
If you type the word accents into a search engine such as google you will get pronunciation rather than typing symbols.
