Twenty English to Simplified Chinese Menu Word Groups Translated

I am going to check these translations with three or four different people later. It's just a start to get me and you going in a restaurant.

The trick to getting a lot of words translated is to ask each of half a dozen people to just check one word, phrase or sentence.

Usually within the first two or three people, there will be one who will then want to check the rest and correct them, either out of curiosity or to be helpful.

I tried Google Translate  reversing English to simplified Chinese but the box in which you can paste the Chinese does not appear. I wanted to check the translation was correct and to be sure it worked for you but it doesn't. First I copied the section 3 of the Chinese. Then I opened another search window and pasted the Chinese into a window. I did not get the English, but I got pictures of sandwiches.  So you can take the numbered section and show the picture of what you want in a restaurant.

Or take the hint. When ordering, bypass the written language. Either show the waiter the symbols. Cover the ones above and below with a napkin to be sure they know what you are pointing at. Or make your own restaurant menu with symbols of food.

The English comes first, then the Chinese in the Chinese written signs, - Oh, my goodness I thought, that's useless to me, but spin down and then thirdly a transliteration in the usual alphabet.
