A notebook, a gift for helpers

I received a notebook as a thank you for visiting Nee Soon East to evaluate a speech. One can never have too many notebooks. As a writer, traveller, speech writer, and speech evaluator and contest judge, I can never have too many notebooks.

If you are a member of Toastmasters International you will be welcomed as a guest at many clubs worldwide. To volunteer for a role as a speaker or evaluator, it's a good idea to contact them a week or more in advance. However, sometimes I turn up on the day and offer to be a backup speaker or evaluator and another member drops out, perhaps because they are needed at work.
