See Singapore Statues and analyse the poses in financial tower 3. Near Downtown

What wonderful statues

Three of these statues are on level three in the MBFC Tower 3. Tower 3 is accessed indoors through Tower 2 as you walk from the Downtown MRT station on the Downtown line.

The poses are interesting. The bowing is oriental, pronounced in Japan and Korea and less so in Singapore. Big smiles. You will notice that the staff on Singapore airlines smile and incline their heads to passenbers as you leave the aircraft.

In Korea when I went into a restaurant, as I left, the staff bowed low.

Interesting the way the statues hold their hands.

Interestingly, if I were evaluating a speaker, (who is a VIP, unlike these characters who are bowing like servants) I would suggest not holding hands behind your back, unless you are straightening out your spine.

See next post for the third statue.
