Photo Points Seeing Singapore's Sculpture: The bird sculpture at Raffles Place, Singapre

I came out of the Singapore MRT (underground train) at the evocatively named Raffles Place station. A few steps from one of the exits (check the map in the station) is the river. Real birds are trotting around, hopping and hoping for another crumb from somebody sitting eating their lunch by the river.

The big bird, a solid sculpture, can be your foreground, side frame, or frame - using the hole in the middle. If you use the sculpture itself as a frame, make sure you are focused on the centre of your picture, the distant hotel, the Fullerton hotel, and not on the framing sculpture.

MRT map
I tried looking at the MRT maps on a smart phone but the wording, the names of the stations was too small and out of focus. It's more conveneient to use the free MRT map you can pick up at the counter of any station.
