You exit from the MRT station Bayfront on the Downtown line exit D at Marina Bay Sands. The novelties start straight away.
Outside is the Marina. But this is an all weather entertainment centre. Inside you see a wooden boat with a wooden paddle on an artificial underground canal.
The ride in the wooden sampan costs S$10 per person and lasts about 10 minutes. The operating hours are daily, from 11.30 am until 8.30. The last ride leaves at 8.15 pm. Catch it at The Shoppes, Canal Level B2 (basement 2).
I saw a family setting off. The children looked really happy and excited. I think the adults were pretty pleased, too. I was happy, just watching them.
