My topic for an impromptu speech was Do you believe in Magic?
I replied? I know a magician in Singapore called Derek. It is easy to find out how magic tricks are done. Go to Wikipedia. Glass for reflections. Release doves. Saw a lady in half - a amazing contortionists. Quick change reversible dresses. The speed is amazing. It's the timing which baffles you, amazes you, mystifies you, enthralls, impresses. Similarly with miracles Moses and the rivals trying to impress pharaoh used snakes which go rigid like sticks when you pick them up. It's the timing which makes a miracle. If you are shipwrecked and pray for a ship and it appears in time to save you, that's a miracle. I believe some people create or experience magic and miracles.
