Dengue Fever - what you need to know

Dengue fever has occurred in Florida, USA, and regularly in Singapore. (Currently, Jan 2019.) Spread by a type of mosquito. I keep reading that they are breeding mosquitos which won't give you malaria or dengue, to breed with the others, but dengue is still around. To kill mosquitos, fogging takes place weekly around public buildings. You are advised to close windows and doors.

Notices appear outside public buildings in Singapore.

I was interested to read that there are four types of dengue fever. You could recover and get immune to one sort, then get another.

Four facts stood out for me.
Symptoms include fever. Later a rash.
1 The need to drink water.
2 The danger of bleeding.
3 Keeping toilet bowls covered.
4 If you get dengue fever, painkiller paracetamol rather than aspirin of Iboprufen.
