Seen in Singapore - colourful coconuts and red Lipstick palm

Singapore flag.

Red and orange are colours I associate with China and Singapore.

You can probably recognize a coconut palm from the coconuts, brown when ripe, already big and orange in January. Recently removed from a condo complex around the swimming pool.

"Very dangerous!" said the supervisor, cordoning off the area.

I looked longinging at the coconuts. A nearby vending machines was selling cans of coconut milk.

Here's a plant, a palm, even more colourful.

Here's another colourful palm tree. The lipstick palm. So called because of the bright red trunk. I wanted to say stalk, which does not fit, but you know what I mean.

Do you want one? It comes from tropical areas, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and  grows tall and needs water and humidity. you can row it from seed. Even in a swamp or pond.

Or just admire it and identify it on your travels through the world or the internet.

Do you want to identify something?
