Singapore Airlines Offers You More Legroom - if you pay, a little extra

Singapore Flag.

I am a frequent flyer on Singapore Airlines. Into my inbox comes an email headed more legroom. Great. But you have to pay. Why would you?

Problem
Economy is too cramped. If you are tall it's a real problem. Even for small people, by the time you have stuck your bag in front of you on the floor and then the person in front leans back after take-off or after eating, you are jammed in like a sardine and heaven help you if you need the toilet or there's an emergency landing.

Answer
Pay for upgrade to Business.

Objection it is too expensive. My first thought was I'm not paying and I can't imagine anybody else will either. On second thoughts, some people will. Who and when?

Answer
Get upgrade. Pay for it. How?
People in work. Get your company which won't pay for business class to pay for it, costs them less but means you can sleep or rest easier.
Get it for a birthday or Xmas present or Valentine's day.

Singapore is a great stopover if you are travelling between the USA or Europe or Russia and want to continue on to Australia and New Zealand. Singapore Airlines in a member of Star Alliance if you need to mix and match airlines and use airmiles and lounges.
