Stansted's Welcome With Pictures of London

Stansted has done what I always thought London's Heathrow should do, a series of pictures of what there is to see in London, the main landmarks and tourist attractions, when you land at the airport from overseas. Plus a brief text on each one.

I stopped to photograph the Stansted mural and there seemed to be an awful lot of it. However, I discovered that it repeats, so if you miss something you want to read again you don't have to dash back whilst your travelling companions disappear ahead.

The pictures cover Tower Bridge, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, The London Eye, St Pauls' Cathedral, the Cutty Sark, and more. Some you probably know. Others you might not know or may have forgotten. For example, the Bridge of Sighs in Cambridge. Worth a look, or a photo.

Why would you go to Stansted, rather than Heathrow? Because the big boys such as British Airways and Singapore Airlines use Heathrow. But for inexpensive short hops to europe on budget airlines such as RyanAir, Stansted is their hub.
