FEBRUARY 2020

Writers Holiday, Fishguard Hotel, Fishguard, Wales.
Relaxing writers' holiday. I have already done courses on novel writing and writing poetry and I do the illustration course by the patient and encouraging Susan Allison to improve my book illustrations.

21-23 Feb 2019. 249 pounds, including accommodation and meals.
Book early to get good deals on trains from Paddington to Fishguard, where the course organisers family meet you at the station on request - only a few yards down the road.
For about 50 pounds extra for dinner bed and breakfast you can stay another night. I recommend you stay and see the Fishguard Last Invasion tapestry and video which are free, during daytime, above the library in the town hall.

Check the opening times. I have also driven to Fishguard which is on the far side of Wales, stopping to watch the evening theatre performance at a theatre in Bath Theatre Royal and reaching London past midnight. An alternative is to spend a night in Bath or Bristol. Driving towards Fishgaurd, we stopped at several places and stayed at a hotel with a top rated restaurant.
