Everybody can do a foreign language on Duolingo. Learners who want the simplest language, or teachers who are not confident, can do Esperanto, a made up international language with simple rules.

Other fun way to learn languages is to read signs. The signs in Chinese and Japanese are the same. Just as we have a cigarette crossed out for no smoking.
