Which countries and areas have higher rates of infection and why?

Several factors; aged popualtions, mobile populations, crowds, population density and numbers living in a room together.

Distances apart. You might live far apart but all crowd into a church on Sunday, or a mosque or synagogue or big wedding or big funeral or pop concert or foodball stadium.

Then transport. All travelling in separate cars on crowded into a train.

Then living density. Separate bedrooms, big rooms, in the USA.

US Bus driver complained about a woman coughting and a week later he is dead. Glass barriers needed for drivers.

Dormitory for workers in Singapore makes a cluster.

Worldwide
Hospitals , beds near each other so peole catch from one another. Florence Nightingale knew this years ago. Walled cubicles needed.

Doctors catching and spreading diseases. Should have enough masks for everybody in hospital, and at the door spaced out queue and testing for everybody entering, and reasons for visiting, like public buildings and offices in Singapore.

Pretty simple to understand.

A glimmer of hope when rates start coming down. As they are in Wuhan.
