Lokshen Pudding from B & K - here it is! Nigella's recipe if you need to cook it

Lokshen pudding is so delicious but so fattening. We are on a diet. I have gone down a lot. So we eat a small portion with added fruit.

This lokshen pudding is from B & K in Hatch End. Another branch run by one of their relatives is in Edgware. If you are ever in north west London you must try the lokshen pudding.

For health and diet reasons we have added fruit. raspberries, strawberries, kiwi fruit, giant blueberries, prunes - we have a dinky teeny little Chinese bowl for the stones.

Add preserved ginger in syrup. (Candied ginger is dry. Preserved ginger in syrup comes in syrup.)

I must admit that you get more of the flavour and texture of the lokshen pudding if you don't add anything else.

They installed see-through partitions, as you can just about see in this picture if you look closely. Then came the lock down, restaurants open only for take away. (Americans say take out.)

If you can't make it, here are some links to recipes as well as the restaurants.
I have mentioned B & K many times and put up pictures of the outside and inside of their restaurant many times, long ago and recently.

I found a recipe by Nigella, the gorgeous Jewish ex-wife of millionaire Saatchi.
