What You must and must not do in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, across the border from Singapore

This flag, the flag of Malaysia, might remind you of the flag of the USA, because of the stripes.

A resident of JB (Johor Bahru) who I have seen at meetings for many years, appeared on our screens in Singapore. He said, I haven't been able to attend physical meetings in Singapore for a year.

'I have to walk my two dogs before 10 pm because of the curfew. And I can't walk more than a small distance from my house. No going out to restaurants. The police and army have set up road blocks."

I puzzled over this. How can they put a block around every house. Then I recalled the layout or JB. What they have done is put road blocks at specified distances along the main road.

If you want to join a Toastmasters International meeting which trains speakers and gives confidence, now is a good time. Apart from a few hybrid meetings. you can attend meetings all over the world. I have attended three meetings a day, on different continents. canada on Monday (their Sunday), India, UK and so on.
