Edith Piaf Museum and Tomb in France

Je ne regrette rien sang Edith Piaf. She wrote her own songs.

Edith Piaf wasn't just a singer. She was a songwriter. She had ups and downs in her life. The man who discovered her was killed by gangsters. A lover was killed in an aircrash. Her only daughter died aged two. She had three serious car crashes.

On the other hand, she had Yves Montand, a host of famous friends, such as Charles Aznavour, and Marlene Dietrich who was matron of honour at Piaf's first marriage. Edith was enormously popular in life and after her death as her grave is one of the most visited in the cemetery.

She is buried in Pere Lachaise cemetery, the largest cemetery in Paris, France.
