A bunch of people - a group of people, a bunch of flowers

check - bill

chips - crisps

cookies - biscuits

diaper - nappy

eraser - rubber

faucet - tap

french fries - chips

gas - petrol

it sucks - it's bad news/it's a disaster/that's bad luck/a real bind/that pisses me off/disappointing

over easy (of an egg) - cooked both sides

raised - brought up

rest room - toilet

worrisome - worrying


British - American
