We saw the teas.
Then we realized we could have lunch. And the full name of the restaurant is Arteastiq de Patio.
The teas are not just for display. You can order them.
I had trouble remembering the name. Until I broke it down into syllables. Art (t)eas TIQ. Like artistic. Then you have to remember on the patio. Not on but of - de.
The decor was amusing. Lots to look at. Hanging plants. Tea in a tropical tea garden.
Every chair different. At least two kinds of dining chair.
We had a choice of seating. Sofas in different colours. Fresh green. Echoing the greenery outside. In the city with the bustle of culture, yet an oasis. Soothing blue. Bright blue. With cushions.
Banquettes along the wall, cream coloured. with individual dining chairs facing the banquettes. Or sofas. I like to have my hand bag off the ground which means grabbing a spare chair or sitting on a banquette or sofa. The tables were not too low so we opted for sofas.

We could have sat by the window enjoying the view looking down.
The Menu
The menu is illustrated. Some of the main platters seemed expensive.
Sharing A Fish Platter
However, sharing platters suited our budget. And my diet.
Our platter had unusual fish with chips and salad.
Dessert
The highlight was dessert.hojicha (tea ) tiramisu. The presentation was perfect. Powdered green, a bit like pistaccio flavoured icing sugar on what looked like solid melt in the mouth yogurt.
Afterwards I looked up hojicha and found it was toasted green tea, less caffeinated, and having a caramel or sweet taste.
Set Tea
Another pair of customers had the set tea served in a cute gilded cage. The ladies liked the savoury. But shrugged dismissively about the donuts.
I reckoned I would like the macaroons.
However, given their lukewarm feelings about the desserts, I reckoned I had done well with my tiramisu dessert. I would go back again just for the dessert.
Location
Location, third floor of Plaza Singapura (shopping mall) by Dhoby Ghaut MRT railway station in the centre of Singapore. As they say, location, location, location. Hilton said that.
VERDICT
Highly recommended. Delightful decor and delicious dessert.
Where next? All around the Plaza Singapura mall. (See next post.) Consider one of their other two branches in Singapore for a change.
