In-Laws in Chinese and Yiddish

Here is my chat with a Chinese speaking lady about the Mandarin for in-laws.

Hi Angela, here’s the Mandarin word and pinyin for in-laws 亲家 Qìngjiā

Thanks. Is this only equivalent of in-laws applying only to bride and groom for sister-in-law and brother-in-law and mother-in-law and father-in-law?

Or is it also equivalent to the Yiddish muchatunim which means parents of your daughter-in-law or son-in-law?
