The Queen of The Night Flower

In the morning this is what we saw. it looks tired and floppy.

At night this is what we saw. Wow - what a change. Perked up. Opened up. Proud. Sticking out a central starburst of attention-grabbing little white spikes.
Grown on a balcony in Singapore. Photo by Angela Lansbury.

It comes out at night. Just for one night? The flower is on a succulent, grows off the end of the leaf. Other popular names are climbing cactus and orchid cactus

It is also known as Queen of the Night, and Princess of the Night.

I have many of the green leaves growing in pots in Singapore. Then one night, I saw an amazing white flower.
