The lights on the nine branch candelabra are not lit. Not because it is early in the evening. You can see the lights behind the stained glasss windows. But because I took this photo in November 2022. I was on my way to the meeting of Braddell Heights Advanced toastmasters International speakers' club, which meets in the offices above the food court in Waterloo street.

The synagogue is conveniently next to the MRT train station, Bras Basah.
