A dramatic sad story, but with a kind of happy ending. Two men in New Zealand had plans for a business. They were full of excitement and happiness. Then one of them died suddenly, totally unexpectedly.
The surviving partner was so upset that he closed down the business, abandoned the plan, and left the area. Time passed.
Then one day. He decided to go back. He went back and decided to re-start the business, in honour of his former business partner. His symbol on the label was a heart, in two colours, red and white, like the two colours of wine. He was determined to do everything he could to make the venture a success to honour his former partner.
The business flourished. They now have two wineries, one in Queenstown. They sell alcohol and Riedel glasses on the website.
