All over London you will see knittted hats on the tops of postboxes. Here is one for the coronation.

Central London is full of people celebrating. There are open air street lunches on  long trestle tables. This was arranged well in advance  because the local council have to be informed about street closures and to advice on health and safety and to give permission.
