Feeding animals at Llogora tourist village, Park Kombetar Vlore, Albania

We drove from Dhermi beach resort  up winding road to the mountainside Llogora national park. The hiking trails are well marked.

We parked opposite the hotel Alpin. We stopped for lunch. We sat under a tree which dropped pine needles. However, soon the beaming waiter, Alexandr, came out. He ceremoniously covered the wood table with a crisp, fresh, white paper tablecloth with a flower design printed like an inner frame.

We ordered a mixed salad (mixed salad), and a moussaka (Musaka).

Afterwards we had 2 cups of espresso coffee with cold milk on the side (Makiato), one glass of local red wine, (vere) to drink.

For dessert we had one Revani. Revani was like a cross between sugary solid jelly and quince paste. We liked it. We looked up the recipe. He gave us cake for free, which was good because the Revani is a bit of an overload of sugar and goes well with a portion of cake.

Llogara is the mountainside area. Vlore is the area or region.

He told us where to find the entrance to the Llogora tourist village. The so called village is really just a hotel with crazy golf, deer to feed and a few statues. If you are not staying at the hotel you have to buy two packets of crunchy maize for the door to eat.

Weird or wonderful white statues in Llogora tourist village.
