Remember when we used to get a pint of milk on the doorstep every day. This was when we were children and most people had one or two children and most children had two parents, so most households were three or more.
Milk deliveries stopped. Later supermarkets would offer a complete shop, once a week. After Covid, everybody has got used to being able to have anything delivered. Amazon delivers. McDonalds delivers. Everyone delivers. In Singapore there is Ubereats. Supermarkets such as Waitrose will deliver. Ocado delivers. Tesco delivers..
In London the restaurants have tables by the door for collections by people zooming around on motorbikes.

This week in the UK my family received a leaflet with an offer from Milk & more with 30% off the first four orders.
It doesn't suit me right now. We all live within walking distance of the shops. That's one of the things I always look for when buying or renting property. The same applies when staying in hotels, unless we are also renting a car.
The post office is now offering to collect post as well as delivering.
