Putra halal restaurant near Bencoolen MRT, Singapore

My favourite memory of this restaurant was the avocado smoothie, a thick drink, calorific, healthier than the usual sugary smoothies and for me definitely different.

Cost

At.5.80 sing dollars, plus 8% GST goods and services tax, a lovely novelty. Not bank breaking.

Where?

Opposite exit A of Bencoolen MRT or a few yards from exit B which saves crossing the busy road.

Staff rush to serve you. It is cafeteria style, and they explain what is in the food. 

We were staying in the Somerset Bencoolen apartments. You can have lunch in Putra. Or breakfast.

For our last night dinner in Singapore we chose somewhere grander and more expensive, Artichoke.

The front entrance is from the street.

If you are in the serviced apartments you can access the back entrance from the hotel lobby.

The restaurant is busier on days when the nearby mosque is busy.
