Buying clothes overseas and at home - sizing, market, mirrors

When you are in a fitting room with changing rooms you can try on clothes - if you have time and there's no queue, and you are not encumbered with heavy boats and six layers of clothing - nor bags and passports and valuables which you don't want lying around in a communal changing room.

In markets its handy to carry a small size mirror, especially the sort which shows your whole body in a mirror the size of the palm of your hand. You can hold up tops or skirts, or even match socks and shoes, seeing how they look with the rest of your outfit.

Keep a list of bra sizes at the back of your diary.

And/or print them off to take with when shopping.
