South London's Scenery: Horniman Museum, Clapham Common and Architectural Delights

Horniman Museum showing the clock tower and mural.

The Horniman museum was founded by the man who made his fortune in Horniman's teas.
The mural on the front shows figures embodying poetry and the arts as well as emotions such as hope.

Parking as the picture shows is limited and their website recommends several bus routes and the trains but warns that the so called ten minute walk from the engagingly named station is uphill - though that does mean downhill on the way home.

Post in progress - saving it so it doesn't get lost. Come back later today.
