DIY Travel kit - including a travelling toothbrush from Tesco £1

My latest travelling toothbrush from Tesco Express costs only £1. The packaging reminds you that you should change you toothbrush every 3 months.

What about the travel toothpaste? I used to save mine from Singapore airlines. The toothpaste is tiny, the size of your smallest finger.

You could also save a toothbrush and paste from an airplane journey. Some airlines have toothbrushes in the toilets inside the airport lounges.

You might get a small toothpaste sample from your dentist.

The Tesco brush is from:

Grad and Go
2 Amsterdam Road
Hull HU7 OXF

Your travel kit might also contain toothpicks, dental floss and mouth wash. What about Bongela? And  And a dental repair kit. Check out your local pharmacy and decide what you need.

The above came from Waitrose. Tesco has another brand.

Lipsalve from Boots.
A dental repair kit.

Tooth flossing devices and tape. You can get waxed entail floss and mint flavour.
Tooth picks can be wooden or plastic.
Note the difference between wooden toothpicks and sock tail sticks. Cocktail sticks look similar but have very sharp points and could prick your gum and cause an inflammation.
Your handy small size travel kit can be packed in a zip lock plastic bag or a small box with a sealing lid.

Check what you can do in an emergency. For example, if I get an inflamed gum or sore throat when travelling I gargle with salt dissolved in water. I use bottled water or cold drinking tap water or boiled and cooled water.
