Pearl Market in China and factory / jewellery stores

After finding the Pearl Market website for the UK I continued hunting on the internet and found reviews on TripAdvisor for a Pearl Market in Beijing. It seems to be a multi-storey building with a seawater pearl department at the top and other floors of gift below.

As is often the case in China, lots of bargaining.

When I was in Shanghai we were taken to jewellery factories as part of a private tour with two of us in a taxi. One of our stops was at a ground level store the size of a small supermarket. Every counter had a different seller hoping to sell their wares.

On another tour in China I went to another jewellery factory. I bought a very pretty ring with green and red stones. Unfortunately later one of the stones fell out of the claw clasps.
