Intrepid Traveller Adam

Problem
How to forget your problems. I was sitting on a delayed train, thinking about the problems with the train, trying not to think about Adam and his family's problems. But his problems as a traveller on trains and in life made mine seem rather insignificant.

I first met Adam when he was aged 13 at Merchant Taylors' School when Adam was friends with our son, Anthony, who had just joined the school in 1992. Adam later went to Watford Grammar School, another school which is known for pupils scoring high success in exams and other achievements at school and later in life.

Adam had cystic fibrosis from the time when we knew him at school. You can read about how Adam travelled to New Zealand and travelled through life in articles he wrote for The Guardian and various newspapers.
