I'm making a blog book with blog2print. First thing you need is to find your own blogsite address. You might wish to cut out old or irrelevant blogs. Then print your book. If the website closes down, you still have all your blogs. You can also do a book at the end of each year. In theory you could make a blog about somebody else, for example the first year of your baby, your marriage, your new school or college, or the life or grandad and grandma after they retire. Or your travel and holidays. Or your country and what to see and do for visitors.
Travel worldwide: UK; hotels; restaurants; museums; vineyards; factory tours; learning languages.

Chimps are champs who build a ladder to escape from Hannover zoo
Chimps escape from Hannover zoo in Germany Wednesday July 11 by making a makeshift ladder and scaling the barrier.
They wandered about and most of them voluntarily returned to their enclosure. I first read about this in the Daily Mail online news.
Zoo officials herded visitors outside because chimps are dangerous and can severely injure or kill humans.
Very funny.
But when you start to think, why are the barriers so low? All animal enclosures should be roofed. This is not the first time an animal has got over a barrier. Why aren't animals tagged. A warning sound should be triggered by the tag the moment a tagged animal crosses its boundary?
A zoo should have human refuges where you can go if an animal escapes.

Why Bother To Clean?
Why on earth would you clean an oven?!- Chris, London
Because you might learn from my son's friend who didn't realise that if you allow grease to build up on an oven and apply heat - it's a fire risk. Result - he had a fire in his oven, nearly burned down the house, himself and all his friends. Just check house fire statistics on a fire brigade site.
My local restaurant had a kitchen fire. A pan which caught alight set fire to the cooker hood which had not been kept clean.
Three members of my family got cancer. The two who never cleaned died. The one who was obsessively clean lived.
Somebody said nobody ever died wishing they'd kept cleaner. Maybe not. But those who survive wish their dead relatives had taken more care.
Why clean inside windows? If mould builds up your curtains get mouldy which means you are breathing in spores - a well known health risk. People living in houses with wet ceilings and mould have families with children who get ongoing health problems.

Photos and cameras for close-ups of animals
“The best camera to have is the one that’s with you all the time,"
An iphone or similar smartphone with lots of pixels (that's the little dots making up the picture).
Sometimes the so-called zoom is not increasing the pixels but simply cropping the picture which you can do later.
What you need is to walk closer to the subject. A bit difficult today - i was photographing a fox outdoors and did not want to move close because that would probably most likely make it run away or if it had nowhere to run and was cornered it might attack me and even if I weren't hurt it might make me drop my camera.
Instead of rushing to your bag or bedroom it would be handy to keep a second proper camera set up on a tripod or table near the window of your garden. (But not visible to burglars nor near a window you or others are likely to leave open).
In my UK garden I have seen lots of birds, fast-moving squirrels as well as the fox. In Singapore you sometimes see snakes (which you want to photograph from a distance - but I suppose it would be handy to have a photo of what killed you if you go too close - joke). In flats you get birds perched on balconies. In condos (Singaporeans use the word condo for a building with more facilities such as landscaped gardens around swimming pools and water features) even more opportunities, including people walking dogs.

No Unnecessary Noise Please, Children
A recent newspaper report says a head teacher was trying to quell noise at break time. Quite right for the head teacher to attempt to reduce break time noise levels and make children conscious of volume.
At playtime the noise from the nearest school can be heard right down the street. Shouting prevents neighbours having an afternoon nap. Noise disturbs the elderly or sick - or anybody just wanting to sit in their garden. Children walk down the street shouting. They yell to each other on trains.
Crying Wolf
It's in the children's own interest to talk quietly so that if they shout in an emergency others can hear and take action. Several times after fatal incidents people reported hearing screaming but not calling the police because they thought shouting and screaming was just a friends' or family tiff and 'normal' behaviour.
