Problem
Confusingly the Bulgarians shake their heads for yes and nod for no. Street signs are in the Cyrillic alphabet.
Answer
Say da for yes and ne for no.
Other easy words, mersi for thank you (like in France and Romania) and ciao for goodbye, like in Italy.
