Stings and bites, DIY prevention and cure, commercial prevention and cure - lemon-loving lunacy

I found that Sudocrem provided slight temporary relief.

I remembered how I had been on holiday at a remote hotel. I had wanted lemon
to repel insects.

In the UK, my small Tesco Express supermarket stocked no insect repellent. So I bought a lemon. They sold a single lemon, or a pack of several.

I cut a lemon and spread that over myself to repel insects. Every time I went to the toilet and washed my hands, I re-applied the lemon juice.

Then I obtained the above commercial products.
My husband came back from Indonesia with his stock of repellents.

I checked what zI could buy in my local chemist's sho, Tanna's. Thheh had products in the more economical larger size and the convenient to carry smaller size.

I emptied all the bins. Vaccuum cleaned the carpets to eliminate crumbs and insects and potential insects. I wore pyjamas in bed. Next morning, I showered using lemon scented shower gel. Next I shall drink lemon juice.
