Food and Drink visits - from chocolate to Escoffier birthplace museum

On holiday why not visit a museum of food or drink. Today my discovery is Escoffier. I am researching a book of quotations and found Escoffier:

He was called the king of chefs and the chef of kings. He worked at the Savoy with Ritz and then joined Ritz at the new Ritz hotel. He created peach melba and melba toast for Australian singer Dame Nellie Melba.

Escoffier said:
Success is the sum of small things done correctly.
If the divine creator has taken pains to give us delicious and exquisite things to eat, the least we can do is prepare them well and serve them with ceremony.

His books are still read in French and English.

FINE FOOD - France is first, of course, in our minds and historically. See below.

FRANCE
The birthplace of Escoffier in France is a museum of cookery.

You will also find the museum on Tripadvisor and several blogs.

You can also buy translations of Escoffier's book on Amazon.

CHAMPAGNE - FRANCE
Lots of visits to champagne houses in Reims and Epernay.

CHOCOLATE
