Making a Photo Calendar

Made To Order Photo Calendars
Vistaprint
Companies such as Vistaprint will make up calendars using your photos. Current offers (Nov 2017) are a reduced price desk calendar at £4.99 plus postage.

A desk calendar is the sort which has a creased base. When pulled flat, the small side forms the silhouette of a triangle with an oblong back and front.

Some tourist boards and restaurants produce desk calendars and hanging calendars as promotional items. Ask for one when they have many and can easily spare one.

You can copy the shape of a stand up desk calendar and glue on a photo or travel picture from a travel magazine. You could use last year's calendar photos and mount with this year's or next year's dates and spaces for writing.
Get a free diary from Waitrose, with the magazine, which is free if you have a Waitrose card.

Waitrose diary has recipes and a small space for the day's appointments.

The back of Waitrose diary has handy cook's notes.

Visit Gibraltar's diary has another shape. This one has a slit and a tab to slide in the slot. Notice the spelling of Gibraltar. Tar (not ter).

Ukraine tourism has a diary with spiral binding. You can order books with this kind of bidning from Lulu.com

You can make a kitchen calendar with your favourite foods. Here's my picture of Montgomery Cheddar blue cheese, the only Cheddar as far as I know which is blue. Photo by Angela Lansbury. Copyright.

Here's a view of a stand up calendar side on so you can see how the fold works.

So you can make your own calendar, or hope to get one from the tourist board.
